Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC -
In another world, far, far away…
The promised tranquility of the Kingdom of Mocerd had been mercilessly destroyed since the discovery of the Dungeon of Dudael.
While this uncharted region brought the people wealth through the unearthing of Ancient Pieces and sacred relics from the mythical ages, it also brought about an outbreak of Monsters.
You, the Master of the Adventurers’ guild, have been exclusively issued a royal decree by King Okeir of Mocerd.
Embark on a great expedition to reveal the dungeon’s treasures and the rarefied ‘Blood Crystals’. Pursuit the honorable duty, and be awarded the title of 'Wizardry', the most prestigious honour in the Kingdom.
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
The Mad Overlord had been consumed with thoughts of revenge ever since the wizard Werdna had stolen his most prized possession, the powerful magic amulet.
Adventurers from all throughout the land came to the Mad Overlord's castle to try their luck in his Proving Grounds – a deadly maze, ten levels deep, at the bottom of which lies the amulet, jealously guarded by Werdna himself.
The legendary first scenario in the Wizardry series, Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord has now been fully remade and enhanced in 3D.
While the well-known difficulty of Werdna's maze has not been altered, quality-of-life improvements have been added in every area. Party management, navigation, spellcasting, and combat have all been significantly enhanced.
Wizardry 6: Bane of the Cosmic Forge
Nearly 120 years ago, there was a most evil lord and an equally wicked wizard. They joined forces in a magical struggle to vanquish all other evil powers.
It was during this conflict that they learned of the existence of "it".
The Cosmic Forge... a magic pen which made reality any words scripted with its point. With this pen in hand, they began to script horrors into the universe. It was shortly after obtaining this Cosmic Forge that the two allies became jealous of each other's power, and engaged in a final climactic battle to determine the fate of themselves and of the magic pen. What became of them, no one knows.
And now, adventurers who may change the fate of the magic pen and the universe seek to enter the castle once again...
Wizardry 7: Crusaders of the Dark Savant
The disappearance of the magic pen with the power to alter destiny brought about an unexpected occurrence. A spaceship crash-landed on a planet which was uncharted on any map of the known galaxy.
News of the new planet's discovery spread throughout the galaxy. The planet was rumored to be the legendary Lost Guardia. It is said that the great Phoonzang once discovered a secret regarding the power of the universe and of life itself and hid that secret along with the entire planet.
The Dark Savant, an enigmatic traveler of the stars, as well as the two great races that dominate the universe, the Umpani and the T'Rang, descended upon the planet. And so, brave adventurers, your own adventure begins.
Wizardry 8
Before the beginning, the Cosmic Lords created the very first world using three artifacts. After that, the artifacts were hidden by a magic pen.
However, theft of the magic pen first revealed the existence of Astral Dominae, infused with the power of life itself.
Chaos Moliri, the source of all change, was discovered half a galaxy away.
Last, the Destinae Dominus, containing all knowledge, was stolen by a madman and disappeared.
It is said that whoever obtains all three will gain the powers of the Cosmic Lords. At the dawning of a new destiny, who will prove worthy?
Wizardry Variants Daphne
Once every 100 years, the Abyss opens.
It is a curse of death that consumes the continent. A Warlock who coveted Death, devoured people and animals and enveloped the world in despair.

But now, the king has vanished, and the world is being consumed by death, moment by moment.
Resistance itself is meaningless.
There is naught but to perish.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls
Rising from the land of Athals, the empire of Darua united the people but 100 years later, the emperor of Darua fell into madness and the land was divided among three factions.
Together, the three countries created peace in Athals, but over time, fiends, beasts, and demons were seen once again throughout Athals.
The people hold on to their visions of peace while living in fear of the unknown. However, in the midst of all this, there appeared those who sought out treasures of the past and those who earned their way by exterminating monsters.
These people became known as "Adventurers."
As the many adventurers travel over the lands of Athals, yet another dark shadow looms just over the horizon...
Wizardry: The Absence of Misericordia
Many travelers had become stranded in the village of Winternedia. Winter had clung to this land for two full years, and the mountain pass was no longer navigable.
A merchant from a band of fur traders approached the adventurers with a request.
According to village legend, there was an old temple in a nearby valley.
In bygone years, it contained a relic of the Madonna of Mercy, through which a ritual was said to keep the dreaded cold away.
But now the relic is lost and the temple has been abandoned.
You must retrieve this relic and return spring to this frozen land.
Wizardry: Prisoners of the Battles
The King's guard, the renowned Hallstein, gathers mercenaries and young children, training them into full-fledged soldiers.
However, rich mineral deposits have been discovered throughout the land, it has become apparent that many other kingdoms would be eager to invade.
Thus, a great many adventurers must be trained up in all haste, molded into a robust fighting force, serving as the King's guard.
And so many adventurers seeking the king's reward and up-and-coming youths gather in the tavern, eagerly awaiting their next test.
Wizardry: Prisoners of the Lost City
In a forested region of the Kingdom of Diment, there was a "city where the fog never clears".
The city had become a labyrinth from which none who entered could ever return.
According to legend, the city was transformed into a labyrinth by the deep hatred of the archmage Chu Lu Gah.
It is said that great treasure or a great power left behind by archmage Chu Lu Gah lie slumbering in the labyrinthine city.
The story begins in this labyrinth, the City of Ghosts.
Players choose their own story: an adventure seeking the truth of the labyrinth, or an adventure to escape from the labyrinth.

Or will God reduce them to piles of ash on the altar? Either way, Iarumas collects his finder’s fee. And though his skills earn him some grudging respect, he’s also scorned for this cold, utilitarian attitude. The living keep their distance—Iarumas consorts primarily with the dead. That is, until he meets Garbage, a feral young swordswoman who’s the sole survivor of a massacred party.
